Workshops and Groups

I lead workshops and groups on a variety of topics. Here are some of my most popular groups and workshops.

Social Skills Baking Group

This unique social skills group for 3rd-5th graders blends baking and bonding. This group will be led by Rahel Belfield, Owner and Chef at Grant Park Coffeehouse and Kerri Golding Oransky, LCSW Child, Adolescent and Adult Therapist at Coffeehouse Counseling. Participants will learn how to bake delicious treats while also learning how to cooperate, communicate and connect with others. We will engage in hands-on baking sessions while learning the ingredients for making and keeping friends such as initiating friendships, understanding social cues and navigating friendship challenges. Space is limited. Click here to register.

Don’t Be Your Own Bully Series

Does your child put themselves down or say things will never work out? Are they harder on themselves than anyone else is? In this six week series, participants will learn about their “Brain Bullies” or “The Self-esteem Stealers” . We will use art and creative activities to learn how to talk back to their inner bullies and develop tools to increase their self-esteem.
